Ten Poems of Leaving: Pearl Leaves Palm
皎洁圆明内外通 清光似照水晶宫 只缘一点玷相秽 不得终宵在掌中 |
Bright white, round, and shining through and through, my gleams are pure like the sun on a crystal palace. Now, only because a little blemish looks like dirt, you won't hold me all night long in your hand. |

废话
These ten leaving poems are disappointing to me in that they reveal nothing more about Xue Tao. They are simply artifacts of her life's efforts. She hasn't given up much about herself and her life. With only a few poems left, I'm afraid of not knowing her better than I do now.
