Maha Pool for Deputy Xiao Zhong

昔以多能佐碧油 今朝同泛旧仙舟 凄凉逝水颓波远 惟有碑泉咽不流 |
Of old, many came to help inscribe this stone. This morning, we float together in a frail, old boat. Cold, clear water flows away in a long cascade Only hindered by this golden stone tablet at its source. |

Maha is Sanskrit for "great." I can't find any reference to a "Great Pool" with an inscribed stone Buddhist stele. But that seems to be the poem's topic.
